SALE SALE SALE!!!

Well I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone, judging by my last blog entry back in November I think my New year's resolution should be to keep up with my blog a bit more regularly!! So I'm just letting you all know that my January sale is now on in my Folksy shop www.folksy.com/shops/themosaicgarden - here's a little taster of what's on offer!

Mosaic Sailing Boat

I have been so busy lately with craft fairs, orders and the craft co-operative, all I've been doing is painting coasters, coasters and more coasters, so my mosaic work has been neglected. But at last I managed to finish one mosaic picture, admittedly it is a small one but at least I'll have a few mosaics on my stall at the weekend just so I can justify calling myself The Mosaic Garden!

Got up early yesterday morning and went to the beach in Cromer to take some photos of my mosaics ready for my website which I'm trying to finish - I had the brilliant idea of taking my sister's dog with me!? So these are the photos I managed to take without the dog on standing on top of the mosaics!

Here are my latest additions to my Folksy shop: www.folksy.com/shops/themosaicgarden - they are sets of fridge magnets I just did as a bit of fun. They are mini handpainted ceramic tiles and a set of four costs £4 plus p&p.

Hello and welcome to my blog written by me Carolyn Graham about my business 'The Mosaic Garden' which I will try to keep regularly updated even though I haven't a clue about social networking and to be honest I'm a bit daunted by the prospect and I'm wondering what on earth I'm going to write to make it interesting! Anyway I thought I'd start by showing you where I work, here's my 2 sheds one where I cut up all the mosaic tiles and where I make a lot of mess - glass flying everywhere and the other shed where I make the mosaics and do my painting - a bit less messy but that I have to share with a few mice who are rather partial to eating my sketch pads!

This is where I make my mosaic pictures of beach huts, lighthouse, boats and all sorts of other mosaic items - mirrors, letters, picture frames, jewellery, cards and also my popular handpainted ceramic coasters of birds, flowers, patterns and seasidey designs.
I'm working on my website - http://www.themosaicgarden.co.uk/ so in the meantime my work is available to buy from - www.folksy.com/shops/themosaicgarden and also http://www.themosaicgarden.etsy.com/
