I've just come back from a lovely week in a caravan near Rye and I've been inspired by all the different work by local artists and craftspeople I've seen and its spurred me on to get work finished ready for all the craft fairs looming - I'm terrible for leaving things to the last minute. So here is my latest addition to Folksy - www.folksy.com/shops/themosaicgarden.

Hello and welcome to my blog written by me Carolyn Graham about my business 'The Mosaic Garden' which I will try to keep regularly updated even though I haven't a clue about social networking and to be honest I'm a bit daunted by the prospect and I'm wondering what on earth I'm going to write to make it interesting! Anyway I thought I'd start by showing you where I work, here's my 2 sheds one where I cut up all the mosaic tiles and where I make a lot of mess - glass flying everywhere and the other shed where I make the mosaics and do my painting - a bit less messy but that I have to share with a few mice who are rather partial to eating my sketch pads!

This is where I make my mosaic pictures of beach huts, lighthouse, boats and all sorts of other mosaic items - mirrors, letters, picture frames, jewellery, cards and also my popular handpainted ceramic coasters of birds, flowers, patterns and seasidey designs.
I'm working on my website - http://www.themosaicgarden.co.uk/ so in the meantime my work is available to buy from - www.folksy.com/shops/themosaicgarden and also http://www.themosaicgarden.etsy.com/
